Occupational Therapy
Sensory processing, fine motor skills, self-care, and independence for ages 1–16.
Sunrise is one of the biggest communities we serve — and one of the most spread out when it comes to therapy. Sunrise families who need more than one kind of help often end up with a provider for every therapy — each in a different office, on a different day, in a different part of the county.
Our Coral Springs clinic is about 20 minutes north, and it puts occupational, physical, and speech therapy in one building, with one team coordinating your child's care.
If your child needs OT in Sunrise, the question usually isn't just where — it's how to fit therapy into a week that's already full. One clinic, one trip, one plan is our answer.
Our clinic is at 2855 N University Dr, Floor 5, Suite 530, Coral Springs, just north of Atlantic Blvd, with free parking on site.
From western Sunrise (Sawgrass Mills / arena area): take the Sawgrass Expressway north to Atlantic Blvd, then University Drive — about 20 minutes.
From eastern Sunrise (Welleby, Sunrise Lakes): head straight up University Drive or Pine Island Road — about 20–25 minutes.
We're open Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM and Sunday 11:00 AM–5:00 PM, with Saturday appointments available too. Every visit is by appointment. Many Sunrise families stack siblings' or multiple therapies into a single trip — ask us, and we'll schedule around one drive instead of three.
Every plan starts with an evaluation. If your child needs more than one therapy, the evaluation process is coordinated — one intake, one team conversation, one plan.
Sensory processing, fine motor skills, self-care, and independence for ages 1–16.
One-on-one speech and language therapy, coordinated with your child's OT goals instead of running parallel to them.
Strength, coordination, balance, and motor milestones.
For children who melt down in loud, busy places (a Sawgrass Mills Saturday is a real test) or can't sit still through a meal, a class, or a car ride.
Grip, letter formation, and writing stamina.
Structured, predictable, sensory-aware sessions.
Small groups, guided practice, real peers.
We welcome children from schools across Sunrise, including Sawgrass Elementary, Horizon Elementary, Sandpiper Elementary, Nob Hill Elementary, Banyan Elementary, Westpine Middle School, Bair Middle School, and Piper High School — as well as local preschools, charter, and private schools.
School therapy and clinic therapy work differently. School-based services follow qualification criteria and shared caseloads, and they focus on what shows up in the classroom. Our clinic sessions are one-on-one and cover the whole day — mornings, homework, mealtimes, bedtime — on a schedule your family controls.
With your permission, we'll coordinate with your child's school team so both sides reinforce the same goals. And when the drive is the obstacle, we can also provide therapy at your child's school upon request — contact us for more details.
We are proud to partner with major insurance providers and scholarship programs to help families access the care they need.
Simply provide us with your insurance details, and we will contact your provider to find out exactly what is covered, including your co-pay or deductible, before your first visit.
Most insurance plans require a formal referral or prescription from a pediatrician to cover occupational therapy. We can coordinate with your doctor’s office to help secure the necessary paperwork once we begin the evaluation process.
OTogether is a registered provider for the Step Up For Students (FES-UA) scholarship. Our team is experienced with the billing portal and will guide you through the process to ensure your child receives the care they need.
No. At OTogether they're in the same clinic, and the therapists work from one shared plan. For many Sunrise families this is the whole reason they come: one drive up University Drive instead of separate trips in opposite directions, and progress notes that actually talk to each other.
Sunrise has individual and home-based providers, but no full-service pediatric therapy clinic with OT, PT, and speech under one roof. The closest option with all three — plus a sensory gym — is our Coral Springs clinic, about 20 minutes north.
We're in-network with Cigna, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, and Curative, and we're a registered Step Up For Students provider, so FES-UA scholarship funds can pay for therapy ordered through the EMA Marketplace. We verify your benefits before your first visit; if you're out of network, we'll provide a superbill for reimbursement.
Children ages 1 to 16 — toddlers building first milestones through teens working on independence.
We offer late-afternoon weekday appointments, plus Sunday and Saturday appointments. Most Sunrise families hold a standing weekly time; if your child has multiple therapies, we'll do our best to schedule them back-to-back on the same trip.
Thanks for taking this step for your child. We'll reach out shortly to answer your questions and help you figure out what comes next.
