Handwriting & Fine Motor
When a child's written work doesn't reflect what they know: pencil grip, letter formation, writing stamina, and keyboarding readiness.
Parkland families choose schools, parks, and neighborhoods with care — and when a child needs therapy, a full-service therapy clinic is just over the city line. Our Coral Springs clinic is a 10–15 minute drive from most Parkland neighborhoods, and it offers what Parkland itself doesn't have: a pediatric therapy clinic with occupational, physical, and speech therapy under one roof, built for children ages 1–16.
Our clinic is at 2855 N University Dr, Floor 5, Suite 530, Coral Springs, just north of Atlantic Blvd, with free parking on site.
From eastern Parkland (Parkside, Riverglades area): head south on University Drive or Coral Ridge Drive — about 10 minutes.
From western Parkland (Heron Bay, Parkland Golf & Country Club): Holmberg Road or the Sawgrass Expressway brings you in — about 15 minutes.
We're open Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM and Sunday 11:00 AM–5:00 PM, with Saturday appointments available too. All visits are by appointment, and the drive fits between school pickup and dinner for most of our Parkland families.
Every plan starts with an evaluation, and sessions are always one-on-one.

If your child needs help, an evaluation is all it takes to start, and with your permission we'll coordinate with the school team so strategies carry over into the classroom. And if getting to Coral Springs is the hard part, we can also provide therapy at your child's school upon request — contact us for more details.
We are proud to partner with major insurance providers and scholarship programs to help families access the care they need.
Simply provide us with your insurance details, and we will contact your provider to find out exactly what is covered, including your co-pay or deductible, before your first visit.
Most insurance plans require a formal referral or prescription from a pediatrician to cover occupational therapy. We can coordinate with your doctor’s office to help secure the necessary paperwork once we begin the evaluation process.
OTogether is a registered provider for the Step Up For Students (FES-UA) scholarship. Our team is experienced with the billing portal and will guide you through the process to ensure your child receives the care they need.
Yes — this is one of the most common situations we see with Parkland families. Grades can hide the effort behind them: the meltdowns after school, the avoided homework, the handwriting that hurts. An evaluation looks at the underlying skills — motor, sensory, regulation, organization — not just the report card. If everything is genuinely fine, we'll tell you that too.
Parkland has no full-service pediatric therapy clinic. Our Coral Springs clinic is 10–15 minutes away and brings OT, PT, and speech together in one sensory-gym facility — which is why most Parkland families end up making the short drive.
We're in-network with Cigna, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, and Curative, and we're a registered Step Up For Students provider, so FES-UA scholarship funds can pay for therapy ordered through the EMA Marketplace. We verify your coverage before your first visit, and if you're out of network we'll provide a superbill for reimbursement.
Children ages 1 to 16 — from toddlers building first milestones to teens working on independence and executive function.
Yes. We offer late-afternoon appointments after school, plus Sunday and Saturday appointments for packed schedules. Most Parkland families keep a standing weekly slot so therapy becomes part of the routine, not another logistics problem.
Thanks for taking this step for your child. We'll reach out shortly to answer your questions and help you figure out what comes next.
